Hi Andrea,

It depends how many different fabrics you want to have in the quilt. The rough finished dimensions are 40″ x 50″. You could get 1/4 yard of 6 fabrics for the front and 50″ for the backing.

Hello,
I am wanting to try this quilt as a VERY new beginner. Could you share the yardage for the fabrics that I would need to purchase to make this? And the rough final dimensions?

In reply to Mary Arena. We usually don't prewash for quilts, since the fabrics should shrink equally. We have known flannels to shrink much more, though, so if you are worried about it, it wouldn't hurt anything to prewash!
