Description
Cheerful color radiates from this traditional star quilt with a twist. The design is based on Grandma Vina’s antique quilt that “went missing”. Options to finish the star include a diamond striped border and/or appliquéd corner stars. Strip piecing the diamonds really streamlines the construction process. Choose a color spectrum that changes slowly for the best visual effect. We made a version to replicate the original (below), and an updated version using cross weaves (with diamond border).
