Cartography Quilt Pattern
Chart a course to a new destination with Cartography! This is our second new quilt pattern from our fall release. You may recognize this pattern from our Axis Quilt Kit. While the blocks are the same, we’ve simplified the background and fabric cuts.
With baby and twin sizes to choose from, there’s a great fit for every occasion. The block-based construction is manageable and easy to add on for a larger quilt.
We’ve also added a bonus block layout called Star Chart, shown below:
The Star Chart layout happened by accident, but we think it’s a fun variation that adds to the versatility of this pattern. All of the cuts and piecing directions are the same, but the end look is so different! That’s one of our favorite things about quilting.
This striking modern quilt pattern will lead the way to a new creative path for quilters of all skill levels. Plus, this pattern is Fat Eighth (baby size) and Half Yard (twin size) friendly!
We used V & Co’s Ombre Confetti fabrics for the blocks, with Moda’s Zen Gray Bella Solid for the background.
