Inspiration: New Project Fabric Pulls

We picked up a few goodies when we were at Quilt Market last fall.  Has it already been almost a whole year?  One perk of going to Quilt Market is that you can buy fabric precuts without opening accounts or purchasing minimum quantities.  We got some things that we have been dying to use, and we’re finally getting to it.  Have a look!

We went a little nuts at sample spree! #quiltmarket #samplespree

We love the colors in this spindle strip roll from Cotton + Steel.  Their booth was the place to be, if you could get close to it!  We weren’t able to get much from them, but we are excited to use this roll for a new strip quilt pattern.

There are some cool gold and silver metallics mixed in, which add another fun element and a touch of glamour.cs-basics-stripscs-basics-strips2

The nice thing about precut strips is that you can lay them out and play with the color and pattern before you invest a lot of time in cutting and sewing.cs-basics-strips3

We also picked up some fun Halloween fat quarters from Blend.  Maude Asbury’s Spooktacular Eve pairs perfectly with Riley Blake’s Witch Hazel.halloween-fabric-pull
