Meet our latest release, the Sweet Bouquet Quilt (*affiliate link). Craftsy has just launched their newest fabric division, Lily & Loom. As part of the launch, we have designed two new quilt kits for them. We just love the fresh and vibrant designs we got to play with this time around!
Sweet Bouquet (*aff. link) was made for the Daisy Delights fabric line. It’s a big one at 86″ x 98″, but we scaled the blocks up to fit the size, so there’s not a lot of fussy piecing.
The navy blue is one of our favorite parts of the Daisy Delights line. It’s a perfect contrast to the brighter colors.
This quilt is well-suited to an advanced beginner or intermediate quilter. Most of the sewing is rather straight-forward, but there is some triangle piecing that could be frustrating for a beginner.
We quilted an all-over floral pattern of our own design to mimic the fabric design, using a dark lavender thread to blend with all of the different colors. Everything was finished off with a bright yellow binding.
Sweet Bouquet (aff.) turned out wonderfully. It’s available now as a quilt kit from Craftsy. As usual, the pattern will be released on its own at a later date. We hope you’ve enjoyed seeing what we’ve been working on behind the scenes for the last few months.
