Apothecary Quilt

Our second pattern release this fall is the Apothecary Quilt. This cute little wall hanging originally debuted in the Sept/Oct 2020 issue of McCall’s Quilting. They changed up the shape of the jars a little bit in their version of the pattern. Whether this was an accident or on purpose, we don’t know. We have been wanting to release a corrected version ever since, but we started writing our Piece & Love book shortly after and didn’t have the time until now.

This wall hanging is the perfect size for a quick Halloween project, but honestly you can fill the jars with whatever your heart desires. It’s also a great scrap buster, since it doesn’t use a lot of fabric to make. One of our testers, Anna, added heat transfer vinyl to add spooky jar labels. What a fun idea!

PDF copies are available now, and paper copies of our new booklet format are available for pre-order. Paper copies will ship after October 20th.

We still have one more pattern coming this fall, but probably not until sometime in early November. Before we can do that, we have the Sprinkles Quilt Along starting next Monday. Hope to see you there!
