Just Kitten Around Pillow: Purr-fect Patchwork Blog Tour
It’s our turn for the Purr-fect Patchwork book blog tour! Our friend Pamela has written the cutest book full of all sorts of sewing projects, all about cats. There are so many cute bags, pillows, quilts, and more to choose from. It was hard for us to decide, but we chose to make the Just Kitten Around pillows from the book.
Diane’s cat, Ted, is our resident critic, but we think he might like them, too.
We both made our own pillow, because there was no way we could decide who would get to keep it! Audrey chose to do a Halloween themed pillow, which is already a favorite among her kids. Fabrics are mostly by old school Cotton + Steel (who are now the designers at Ruby Star Society). We love that the colors are traditional Halloween colors, with some fun additions.
Diane chose a variety of blue fabrics for her pillow to work in her home year-round.

This is the book this crazy cat lady has been waiting for her whole life!! So many neat projects!! I have 3 kitties who run the show around here: Oni – goddess of love, Master Claude – he who they bow to, Miss Lillian – femme fatale to the nth degree!
This pillow project is one of my favorites in the book, I really enjoy the colorways you ladies went with!
Oh, I forgot to say how adorable Ted is!
Absolutely gorgeous. We have a beautiful Birman cat called Gemma who lives us, and we have to keep reminding her that SHE is not really in charge of our household!
