Sneak Peek: Tribal Weave Quilt

It’s time for another pattern sneak peek!  We’ve been working on this jelly roll + solid quilt for a couple of months, and we have a working prototype that we are super excited to share.  Our final pattern will be slightly modified, but it’s got the overall same look.  This quilt involves a lot of pieces, but it goes together fairly fast once you get going.  

There are half-square triangles throughout the quilt and many, many more in the sawtooth border.  

We wanted this design to look like a cross between a traditional sampler quilt and a native woven rug.

This Rocket Age version was made especially for our favorite rocket scientist, Diane’s husband.  The final version of the Tribal Weave will be done in a completely different colorway, with a few tweaks here and there.  We are working on it now and will have kits available once the pattern is ready.  Stay tuned!
