Double Dip Twist Quilt: Free Pattern!

Hello, quilting friends! It’s Audrey here, and we have a real treat for you today! Double Dip Twist is a free quilt pattern, designed by Cami Groethe and me. Cami designed this fun quilt block years ago, which creates a really cool secondary pattern when you put everything together. I was able to work with her to turn it into this 54″ x 66″ lap quilt, featuring my debut fabric line, Celestial, for Phoebe Fabrics. This fabric is only sold in quilt shops, so ask your local shop to order from Quiltex!

This quilt features all six prints from my line. Don’t they all play so well together? Cami made the quilt from start to finish, including the quilting. That swirl is so dreamy! You can follow Cami on Instagram: @littleyellowbicycle.

We took this quilt on a recent family trip to St. George and snapped some quick pictures during a family hike to find dinosaur footprints. Isn’t it lovely against those red rocks?

And, yes, it is being held upside down from the image on the pattern cover, but in my defense there was a lot going on with all of the kids climbing around in the background. Here’s a little behind the scenes peek at how a quilt photoshoot usually looks, thanks to my friend Erin.

My twelve-year-old daughter is holding up another quilt we look along for the ride. We’ll be showing that one off here pretty soon. It’s one of the quilts from our Piece & Love book, but in a brand new fabric line. Which quilt do you think it is?

If you’d like your free copy of the Double Dip Twist quilt pattern, just add to your cart below. It’s listed for $0, so you won’t have to enter payment info, but this way you will be able to always have it accessible in your account. If you ever lose your downloaded file, you can just head in there and download it again.

I’m still working on my Celestial version of Halo Stars. If you caught my live show on Whatnot a couple of weeks ago, you got to see my demo. If you missed it, I think you can still go back and watch it. Just search for “theclothparcel” and select past shows.

If you didn’t hear about the live shows I’ve been doing, you probably aren’t signed up for our emails. We try not to send out way too many, but if you want to stay up to date with what we have going on as far as new patterns, events, and sales, it’s the best way. Sign up here:

Thanks for reading more about Double Dip Twist, and thank you for your continued enthusiasm and support over the years. We hope you enjoy the free pattern!
