Inspiration: Modern Tuffet No. 2

Once we shared with you our first Modern Tuffet (Diane’s), we knew we had to finish our second one.  This one’s for Audrey’s house, so the color scheme is slightly different: mostly blues, grays, aqua, and a little bit of mustard yellow.  

Many of the prints are the same as the first tuffet, which shows you how easy it is to change up a color scheme by switching out a couple of colors.  It’s mostly a mix of Cotton + Steel and Art Gallery fabrics, with a few random matching prints from other manufacturers.

It’s a stunning addition to the front room, and it matches the tab top curtains we made perfectly! If you’re interested in making a tuffet yourself, we highly recommend using the Tuffet Source pattern and kit.  It made this difficult project a lot more manageable!  Now we get to sit and enjoy our modern decor, or just smile every time we pass.
